Spring and into summer is the perfect time for some outdoor newborn pictures in Plant City or around Tampa Bay!

I loved the colorful outdoor photos, especially with their neutral palette for the wardrobe, but there is something so timeless about black and white images. This session had more than it’s fair share of black and white newborn photos with mom’s dress in a toile fabric for sure. The dress and it’s pattern will always inspired me to create black and white versions. If you are expecting, this is a great time of year for outdoor newborn photos. The mornings work great for newborns, since they are usually happier in the morning, and it isn’t quite as hot or rainy here in Florida in the mornings, too. If you are expecting and want to do a laid back newborn photo session from the comfort of your home, I can usually find a little spot to create outdoor magic, too. 99% of the time anyway! Even if you think it wont’ look great, I can find where the light usually works best and at least give you a few options for family photos that will continue to blend together with future family photos in our gorgeous backdrops around Tampa Bay.

I just adore this family. I am so glad they moved back to the area after a few year and a few kiddos! I was lucky enough to document their oldest child at her newborn photos and now here I am photographing their latest baby. Their bookends <3 Here is a few of my favorites from their petite newborn and family photo session in Fishhawk Ranch. The petite offering for newborns allows for an hour together, with baby safe in their family’s arms for most of the session. Near the end, we wrapped up with a few simple and timeless newborn photos indoors, too.

This family is just so gorgeous and wonderful, inside and out. I loved meeting their newest baby boy recently, especially in the comfort of their home. I love being a Tampa in home newborn photographer. I bring a few things with me and honestly, use the light and rooms that each family has to help each family’s newborn photos be uniquely their own. This family also brings their puppies to their photo sessions and keeping them happy and relaxed at home always helps, too. Newborn pictures Tampa with both the ease of an in home photo session but also sneak outside in Decmeber for beautiful outdoor newborn photos is just amazing! Being the one to document big brother’s newborn photos, I was able to do a similar set up to his newborn photos for his new little sister. I especially love that their pup made an appearance in both newborn photo sessions as well. Poop pup looks a little more tired this time around with a second baby in his space but the family looks full of joy and love, right?

Meet baby D! She is about as cute as can be and her parents are adorable, too, right? This session got moved from early storms in September to October. I am so glad we stuck it out to do this outdoor baby photo session during the season of holiday photos and set up a weekday session at Davis Island Beach. The waiting was worth it. The light was pure magic.

An in home lifestyle newborn session with an added bonus of ending the session at the beach. I love being able to document families, especialy newborns, in their homes. It gives everyone more ease being in their own space. Comfort for everyone in the family, from toddler big brothers, to pup family members, everyone gets to chill and just let me document you while getting to know you and everyone’s personality.

During Covid-19 doing photos safely was our utmost concern. That meant a lot of outdoor newborn photos, and this was such a beautiful night to capture this sweet Tampa newborn photo session at Lettuce Lake Park.
