I just love when a night works out with perfect weather, the perfect light, the perfect family and the perfect outfits. The glowing light definitely helped accentuate their warm neutrals perfectly, too. I just adore Davis Islands Beach for fall. The greenery of the sea grapes provides plenty of wind break before we head to the beach. The greenery also offers the best way to get that backlit magic light that so many people reference when they book me. I know almost everyone living in Tampa Bay wants “beach photos” but the beach isn’t the only beachy spot for photos. I really do recommend starting off the beach first. It helps me create a portrait or two before I have to compete with digging and playing in the sand. Not that I don’t want document the fun times, too, but this time of year, most clients want at least a portrait or two to update their kids photos beyond the bad school pictures and a family image with everyone’s face in view and looking happy together, right?
